The Boston Tea Party
- In 1773, ships carrying tea from the British East Tea Company docked in America
- Protesters of the Tea Act prevented the tea from being unloaded, and many ships turned back to England
- Three ships in Boston were not allowed to leave the harbor until all the tea was unloaded
- 50 men from the Sons of Liberty dressed up as Mohawk Indians and boarded the ships, duping 90,000 pounds of tea into the sea
